A Special Evening with Richard Marks: recorded at the LACPUG

>> Marks has been nominated for many awards including four times for the Academy Award: Apocalypse Now,(with Walter Murch, Gerald B. Greenburg and Lisa Fruchtman), Terms of Endearment, Broadcast News, As Good as It Gets), four times for ACE Eddie Awards. This is a rare opporutnity to listen to one of cinemas greatest editors.

Veteran film editor Richard Marks visits LACPUG for the entire evening.

Marks has been nominated for many awards including four times for the Academy Award: Apocalypse Now,(with Walter Murch, Gerald B. Greenburg and Lisa Fruchtman), Terms of Endearment, Broadcast News, As Good as It Gets), four times for ACE Eddie Awards, (Apocalypse Now, Broadcast News, As Good as It Gets, Julie & Julia) three times for the BAFTA Award, (The Godfather: Part II, Apocalypse Now, Dick Tracy).

Marks has been elected to membership in the American Cinema Editors, and in 2013 he received their Career Achievement Award.

This was a very rare opporutnity to get up close and personal with one of cinemas greatest editors.
