Custom grip for Panasonic GX8
For those looking to beef up the size of their Panasonic GX8, check out this custom grip which involved modifying a third party accessory which was originally designed for a Sony A7S. The result is a custom grip which fits snugly to the small Panasonic GX8, providing size and bulk. No electronic functions from the grip work - this is a cosmetic modification which also facilitates two handed filming.

Media Management in Final Cut Pro X
Media Management in Final Cut Pro is incredibly simple and effective. To back up an entire Library, including all media, is as simple as copying the Library from one location to another. If the media is all contained within the Library, then the backup will be complete. If the media is external to Library you need to use the Consolidate function, this will ensure that all media is then copied within the Library. The video tutorial above shows how this is done.
