Matrox has updated the entire range of Matrox MXO2™ I/O devices and the new Matrox Mojito™ MAX™ card to add broadcast monitoring support to Final Cut Pro X. Video and audio can be output to a variety of external monitors and other equipment using the SDI, HDMI, or analog video outputs from Matrox products.
Not only do Matrox I/O products provide broadcast-quality input and output, they also let users deliver H.264 files for the web, mobile devices, and Blu-ray up to five times faster than software alone, without sacrificing quality. Other important features include 10-bit hardware scaling, inexpensive HD monitoring with the exclusive Matrox HDMI Calibration Utility, and 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound monitoring using professional connections.
“Matrox MXO2 MAX I/O devices are unique on the market in giving FCPX editors lightning-fast H.264 encoding directly from Compressor 4,” said Wayne Andrews, product manager at Matrox. “They are also still the only solutions that connect anywhere, Mac® and PC, via Thunderbolt™, PCIe, or ExpressCard®/34 — with the same versatile unit. And now, our customers can easily view their projects on professional monitors and have confidence that their final output is up to broadcast standards.”
The Matrox DualHead2Go Digital SE external multi-display adapter adds up to two monitors to your laptop or desktop computer. It connects to the video output of your system and uses the system’s existing GPU to provide high-quality, uncompressed graphics and video across all monitors. Ideal for business and professional users looking to increase their productivity with a dual display setup, this little black box lets you run different applications on each monitor or view one application across two monitors.
