The Creative Pro User Group (CPUG) Network have announced that the Sixteenth Annual Las Vegas SuperMeet will take place on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 in the Pavilion Ballroom at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Doors open at 4:30PM with the SuperMeet Digital Showcase, featuring over 25 software and hardware developers. Presentations will begin at 7:00PM and continue until 10:00PM.

Digital Heaven has announced that SpeedScriber now supports one-way and roundtrip integration with Final Cut Pro X.

SpeedScriber is an exciting advance in automated transcription for content creators, providing high-accuracy transcriptions (typically 90-99%) from audio or video files in real-time or faster. The SpeedScriber Mac app allow users to quickly make corrections then output transcripts to print, PDF, plain text, .srt (for captioning) and now Final Cut Pro X.

SpeedScriber is currently beta testing with public release planned for January 2017. Integrations with Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro are in development.

The CPUG Network have announced the Ninth Annual Amsterdam SuperMeet, to take place Sunday, September 11, 2016 once again at the Hotel Krasnapolsky in the heart of Amsterdam, NL. The Amsterdam SuperMeet promises to be the single largest gathering of Final Cut Pro, Adobe, Avid and Resolve editors, gurus and digital filmmakers during the IBC 2016 Show.
